Offshore racing at the beach, three days of music at the Snook Inn, and a Rock the Dock at Rumrunners. Here is what is worth boating to.
The Englewood Beach Waterfest hosts the APBA Offshore Championship Finals through Sunday, Oct 11, with a $50,000 purse, a block party, and an inflatable beach race on Friday, Oct 9. Watch from the water or the beach.
View on map →Rumrunners (Cape Harbour): Endless Summer on Friday and Levi John on Sunday, both at 5 PM. Dock available.
Snook Inn (Marco Island): music at 1:30 and 6 PM all weekend, including Vybe Shifters Friday night, Pulsive Vibes Saturday and Coral Stone Band Sunday. Come by boat; call about docking.
Low Key Tiki: Jumpin Fences Saturday and A'Finnity Sunday, both at 2 PM.
Jensen's Twin Palm Marina (Captiva): Rock the Dock on Saturday, 5 to 7 PM, with free dockside music. The artist is announced on the venue page.
Yucatan Waterfront (Fort Myers Beach): Steve Cipriano Sunday at noon.
See every listing →Nellie's Boatyard is planned for the former Joe's Crab Shack site in downtown Fort Myers next to Legacy Harbour Marina. No opening date has been announced. Legacy Harbour Marina has reopened with 131 slips and takes reservations on Dockwa.
More new and coming soon →Stone Crab Festival at Tin City in Naples, Oct 23 to 25. CAKE at the Caloosa Sound Amphitheater in downtown Fort Myers, Oct 24. Then Transom or Treat on Friday, Oct 30: a free dock trick-or-treat and outdoor movie at Tarpon Point Marina and the Westin in Cape Coral. Boat parade season starts in December.
