A note from Lauryn’s family

We’re hosting our very first Pink Pole Classic Fishing Tournament on Saturday, October 31st, in honor of our beautiful daughter, Lauryn Akey.

We lost Lauryn in May when a drunk driver took her life at just 21 years old. Lauryn absolutely LOVED fishing, being on the water, and especially her pink fishing pole! 🩷

We wanted to create something that celebrates everything she loved while also raising awareness about the devastating consequences of drunk driving.

If there’s one thing we know, it’s how special and supportive the boating and fishing community is. We would love to have you join us, whether you’re fishing in the tournament or just coming out to enjoy the festivities and support a great cause!

Thank you all for helping us keep Lauryn’s memory alive and spreading a little Love Like Lauryn! 🩷🎣☀️
