WTR BOAT TIME

Water-routing engine

Pick a start and a destination. The engine finds a path through connected navigable water (Lee County GIS water shapes, Cape Coral coverage) and adds up time by how wide the water is. Nothing about any trip is hard-coded. This is an estimate, not navigation.

Boats idle until they are out of the canals, so both canal classes start at 5 mph and the river at a 20 mph cruise. These are placeholders, not posted limits. Real no-wake and idle zones are not in the data yet and are marked unknown.
